jingeri glenalva terrace

Located close to a transport hub in a northern Brisbane suburb, this three level development caters for young persons living independently with a disability. The building is designed and certified to meet Liveable Housing Design Guidelines Gold Standard requirements. Containing 10 one bedroom units and associated resident communal recreation spaces, there is ample opportunity for resident interactions and engagement.

The building entry is framed by striking, angular balconies and delineated by a trellis structure and landscape seating. Deliberately positioned adjacent to a public lane way, the entry allows for casual surveillance of the lane way and interactions with pedestrian movement.

Jingeri Glenalva Terrace was the winner of the UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence in the Affordable Housing category for 2019.
