island villa

This renovation of an island holiday villa enhances views to Moreton Bay, creating a seamless connection between the internal living spaces, courtyard and deck. The reconfiguration of the existing layout, combined with expansive glazing, maximises natural light, cross ventilation and frames the coastal outlook.

The internal layout was carefully re-designed to incorporate a functional galley kitchen creating flow from the dining to the front deck, a compact European laundry, ample sleeping arrangements, a practical study nook, ensuite to the master bedroom, family bathroom and generous storage throughout. The new layout improves both spatial efficiency and function while maintaining an open, relaxed holiday atmosphere.

The materials and finishes palette were selected to reflect and reinforce a relaxed beachside aesthetic. The use of timber introduces warmth and texture, creating an inviting, low maintenance environment.
