Vicky graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachlor of Architecture in 2005 and became a Registered Architect in 2007.
Throughout her career working in Brisbane, Edinburgh (Scotland) and Melbourne, Vicky has gained experience across a diverse range of building types and scales including stadia, public realm, health, transport and public infrastructure as well as all major sectors in education (junior, senior and tertiary). Vicky’s project experience has enabled her to establish a skill set that is adaptable to projects of any scale and level of complexity.
Vicky has extensive experience working on large multi-disciplinary projects from inception through to project delivery. She has an interest in place making projects that contribute to communities and enhance the social fabric of cities. Her approach to practising architecture is to build strong working relationships to enable effective collaboration, great communication and positive outcomes.
Prior to joining KO&Co, Vicky spent some time working in wayfinding strategy and signage design which has enhanced her interest in the role that graphics, place naming and physical structures can have on the planning, identification and use of spaces.
